A video by Speedster404 shows the retro-themed new supercar in action and gives you an idea of what its hybridized V12 powertrain sounds like.
The system incorporates a gasoline twelve-cylinder rated at 779 PS (768 hp / 573 kW) and a single electric motor contributing just 34 PS (34 hp / 25 kW). It uses supercapacitors to save weight and increase the power delivery to the motor for a total of 814 PS (803 hp / 600 kW) hitting the four wheels through a seven-speed DSG box.
The historical coupe debuted in the distant year 1971, and its first prototype had the prefix ‘LP 112’, hence the current production run of 112 units. Prices remain to be disclosed, though, and there is no information on how many units have been pre-ordered so far.
