The revived Lambo Countach debuted last weekend with nearly all specifications and trim details, only leaving us guessing about the price. As Top Gear has now found out, it lies close to €2,000,000 – but with the entire batch sold out, good luck grabbing a copy on the secondary market.
The modern reinterpretation of the Countach came out to celebrate fifty years of the original model, which emerged in 1971. The supercar has the same underpinnings as the Sian, and while its body has modern proportions, the panels are all new.
A V12 and an electric motor join their efforts for 814 PS (803 hp / 600 kW), a touch under the peak output of the Sian. Getting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 2.8 seconds, and the top speed lies at 355 km/h (220 miles per hour).
Those lucky enough to stand in the delivery queue of the new Countach can decide to have it painted in a modern finish or any color from the original, 50-year-old palette.
The run is capped at 112 units.
