A 34-year-old Lamborghini Countach previously driver by famous rock musician Rod Stewart is up for grabs with the bidding already at U.S. $370,000 and counting.
The car had stayed in the rocker’s family until the last year. It is a rare 25th Anniversary edition made in 1988–1990 one out of only 657 such cars around. The entire Countach production run was not much larger at 1,983 units.
Powering the classic supercar is a 5.2-liter engine with a carburetor, 455 PS (449 hp / 335 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque at the output end. A five-speed manual transmission drives the rear wheels for a launch time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed as high as 298 km/h (185 mph).
This particular example has around 12,000 km (7,500 miles) under its belt. It is properly maintained and in excellent condition. Factory options installed include power windows and side mirrors, a CD player connected to an audio system, and climate control. 15-inch alloy wheels come shod in 225/50 tires at the front and 345/35 at the back.
