Movie-wrecked Lambo Countach heading to auction poised to sell for $2M

Bonhams Auctions will hold a sale on November 25 dedicated to an exotic Lamborghini Countach used in the filming of the movie ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’. It was deliberately crashed on the set, but the seller is still optimistic that it can go for as much as 2,000,000 USD.

The supercar is a white Countach 25th Anniversary Edition example produced in 1989. It only makes a brief appearance on the screen with DiCaprio behind the wheel, who manages to hit several other vehicles within a few minutes of driving.

The seller is one of the creators of The Wolf of Wall Street’, who deliberately left the car in its lamentable condition after the scene was filmed.

Whoever buys it will receive a plethora of gifts from the producers, including the protagonist’s suit, a clapperboard with celebrity autographs on it, a director’s seat, a themed hoodie and a DVD of the movie.
