A recent YouTube video shows a Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 coming out of the gates of the carmaker’s Sant’Agata Bolognese factory. It is implied that the car is the first finished example in the planned batch of 112 units, heading to its buyer.
The body of the coupe is partly disguised, but you can still see that it is white with black accents – likely unpainted carbon fiber. Overall, it looks almost indistinguishable from the prototype that debuted last August.
Lamborghini pointed out that many customers who pre-ordered the resurrected Countach owned the original coupe as well, and that white color was especially popular back in the Countach era.
Each LPI 800-4 costs from €2 million, a circumstance that did not prevent all 112 units from going sold out in two days. Later developments revealed that many of the buyers were flippers who only purchased their luxury ride to resell it for a bigger price.
The Lamborghini Countach comes based on the Sian platform and is essentially identical to the Sian except for some retro styling cues. Its 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 receives help from an electric motor and churns out 814 PS (803 hp / 600 kW). The coupe needs 2.8 seconds to go 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) and maxes out at 355 km/h (220.6 mph).
