Hear the new Lambo Countach’s electrified V12 roar on the street

We have already seen the modern reincarnation of the Lamborghini Countach multiple times, but the latest spy video is a V12-flavored treat for your ears.

Powering the supercar is the same 6.5-liter engine as in the Aventador SVJ, but with an extra electric motor integrated in the seven-speed DCT. The combined output amounts to 814 PS (803 hp / 600 kW).

You can hear the mighty engine sing starting from around 15 seconds in. Granted, it is not a feral roar of an engine revved up to 8,500 RPM, because the driver obviously isn’t flooring the pedal. Still, the sound is quite impressive.

As you may have heard, only 112 units of the new Lamborghini Countach will be made, and the entire production batch has already been sold in pre-orders. The vehicle in the video is a pre-production sample, implying that the final version may sound even juicier than that.
