‘Wildest’ Lamborghini Diablo goes on sale at Sotheby’s

A highly unique Lamborghini Diablo GT has recently been put up for auction sale at RM Sotheby’s. The car was No. 12 in a batch of 80 vehicles issued in 1999 and has only traveled 276 kilometers (171 miles) since it had left the works. The sales will be held in Monaco.

The original Lamborghini Diablo GT debuted in 1999 with a power-packed 6.0-liter V12 engine delivering up to 583 hp (435 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb·ft) of torque.

The starting price of the luxury-laden Lamborghini Diablo GT – which its current owner describes as “the wildest” vehicle in its class – isn’t being disclosed so far. It springs to mind that a 1991 Lamborghini Countach went under the hammer early this year. Its anonymous buyer paid €331,250.
