The famous U.S. tuning atelier Underground Racing has revealed an upgrade package for the Lamborghini Gallardo. Photos published on the UR official website show the first car customized upon the request of an anonymous Texas customer.
The centerpiece of the upgrade is the engine boost pack named Stage 3. The stock ten-cylinder engine of the Lamborghini Gallardo gets twin turbochargers, improved intake system and motor block, a new exhaust system, and a firmware update. Once complete, the performance of the car goes from 1,000 horsepower when running on the standard Euro AI-93 gasoline all the way to 1,250 hp when using racing-grade fuel.
The upgrade package for all Lamborghini Gallardo vehicles produced between 2003 and 2008 costs U.S. $89,000 to buy and install. Newer models released in 2009-2013 can get the same modification for U.S. $94,000.
