2013 Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 racer up for grabs in Russia

A GT3-spec Lamborghini Gallardo racecar is on sale in Moscow, Russia with 10,000 km (6,200 miles) on the clock and a set of motorsports gear included. The asking price is ₽14.5 million ($197,000 USD).

The seller does not disclose the list of races it took part in, but the car conforms to the GT Open regulations. Whoever buys it gets a wheel gun, a jack, rapid-fueling tanks, spare brake rotors, and three additional sets of wheels.

The car underwent some modifications by Reiter Engineering, a long-standing partner of Lamborghini and the creator of the famous Diablo GT‑R and Murcielago R‑GT. The two brought the Italian automaker over a hundred motorsport victories and 250+ medal places.

Only 49 Gallardo GT3 units has been made in total (watch the video for another example). Compared to its predecessors, the model gained 40 horsepower for a total of 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW), traded AWD for RWD, received upgraded brakes and shed some weight. An impressive aerodynamic kit has been designed specifically for it, including a large rear wing and a rear diffuser. The interior has been stripped bare, leaving only a digital dashboard, two bucket seats and a roll cage.

Lamborghini produced the regular Gallardo in 2003–2013, making 14,022 coupes and Spiders in total. Earlier units came powered by a 5.0-liter V10, which was later replaced with a better 5.2-liter one.
