Video: 1,200-HP Lambo Huracan vs. 1,300-HP Nissan Nismo vs. Red Bull Racer

How many times have we all heard claims of ‘racecar-like dynamics’ from tuners without seeing any proof of said dynamics? Too many times, right? Well, here’s a pleasant exception.

The best out of the best have come together at the drag strip in CarWOW’s latest video. The first was a Lamborghini Huracan with its 5.2-liter V10 boosted to 1,217 PS (1,200 hp / 895 kW) and 1,240 Nm (915 lb-ft) of torque. The car weighs 1,553 kg (3,424 lbs) and has AWD.

The other contender is a Nissan GT-R with a twin-turbo six-cylinder bored out from 3.8 to 4.1 liters of displacement and boosted through the roof to 1,318 PS (1,300 hp / 969 kW) along with 1,290 Nm (951 lb-ft). A curb weight of 1,840 kilos (4,057 lbs) is easily its main downside.

Rounding off the trio is a Red Bull RB7, a Formula One racer armed with a 2.4-liter V8 good for 760 PS (750 hp / 560 kW) and a rear-wheel drive system. Offsetting these shortcomings is a weight of 650 kilos (1,433 lbs) without the driver, David Coulthard.

Watch the video for a number of exciting and unpredictable races. If you would like a spoiler in advance, here it comes: the Huracan won most of the standing races. The other ones were very intense and fun to watch, though.
