The Lamborghini Huracan received a Super Trofeo variant in 2014, a GT2 version in 2020, and a GT3 EVO spec along the way, too. The automaker had intended to introduce a new spec called GT3 EVO2 last year for it to take part in the racing season-2022, but never did until now due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Speaking in a recent interview, Giorgio Sanna of Lamborghini Motorsport said that work was in full swing on the EVO2 and that the car would be homologated by the end of the year. At the same time, an official teaser image was uploaded online previewing the new supercar.
Current owners of the Huracan GT3 EVO, which is shown in the rest of the gallery and the video here, will be able to upgrade their vehicles to EVO2 spec, which, according to Sanna, will ‘differ drastically.’
