Video: Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato flaunts its tall legs

Lamborghini unveiled the mildly off-road-capable Sterrato variant of its Huracan supercar around a month ago. The production will not begin until February, but in the meantime, here is new spy footage showing a trio of test cars in road action.

Uploaded by YouTuber Varryx, the video depicts a matte silver prototype car with side sills and fenders offset in dark grey. Running next to it is a golden supercar with red and black accents on the hood, roof and doors. Rounding off the trio is another grey vehicle with its arches and front end covered in protective white wrap.

Lamborghini plans to produce a total of 1,499 such cars for the entire world. One of the model’s biggest distinguishing features is a suspension lift that also increases the ground clearance. The track is wider at both axles, too, and a look at the arches reveals off-road wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Dueler AT002 tires.

The roof scoop was moved farther to the back of the car to prevent sucking in dust and extra lighting was added all around.
