Lamborghini has started testing a new supercar destined to fill in the gap left by the outgoing Huracan, Motor1 is reporting along with posting spy shots. It looks like the body is final and ready for production.
The coupe is thoroughly disguised, but there is no missing its yellow ‘Electrified Vehicle’ stickers. The rest is concealed under generous amounts of camo wrap and fake bodywork. Even the headlights and taillights are put inside fake casings resembling the marque’s other models. You can still discern the real lighting if you look closely. The headlights in particular sit lower and appear slimmer than those of the Huracan.
Other just-barely-discernible features include ventilated rear fenders, a new front bumper and a large rear diffuser. On the whole, though, it looks like the newcomer isn’t too different from the Huracan design-wise – watch the video below and compare for yourself to get a clearer idea.
Media learned a year ago that the Huracan was on track to being replaced with a hybrid. Speaking in an interview, Lamborghini CTO said it would support charging from the grid.
