Blurry images allegedly showing a mysterious new Lamborghini supercar cropped up online a few days ago, leading some of us to speculate that a successor was coming soon to the Huracan lineup. As it turns out (thanks, Carscoops), the pics were rendered into existence by an independent artist from France, who just wanted to share his vision of a street-legal Huracan Super Trofeo Evo2 (see video).
He called his dream machine ‘Huracan Essenza STO Evo’ and endowed it with quite a number of traits borrowed from the actual supercar – the bumpers, the air intakes and the body outlines as a whole look like something Lambo could have come up with on its own.
New additions included curved fenders, new hexagonal DRLs, original wheels and yellow brake calipers.
The Italian carmaker has never announced an intention to produce a road-going Super Trofeo Evo2. Not only that, but the odds that we will see any new Huracan releases are near zero, since the company said back in May that all the production slots had already been sold out.
