1,090-PS Lamborghini Huracan to get a limited production run

Norwegian tuning company Zyrus has announced an upcoming tune-up program for the Lambo Huracan that can make it considerably faster and more dynamic on the track.

Called the LP1020 Stimolante, the package adds twin turbochargers to the stock 5.2-liter V10. At the minimum boost setting, the mill sends 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) to the wheels. Switching to Corsa mode raises the output to 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW), and maxing it out yields 1,090 PS (1,074 hp / 802 kW) along with roughly 1,000 Nm (735 lb-ft) of torque. Activating the highest performance setting requires entering a password.

Other improvements have been made across the board, like Öhlins TTX dampers, carbon-ceramic brake rotors with improved pads, and a unique body kit. The latter produces up to 1.3 metric tons (2,866 pounds) of downforce at 242 km/h (150 mph), the manufacturer claims.

Only 24 cars like this will be built, each bundled with a warranty valid for 3 years or 20,000 km (12,500 miles) of use. This includes driving on the racetrack.
