Lamborghini has revealed a new version of its Huracán Evo supercar, called “Spyder”. The vehicle sports a retractable soft top and will be present at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
Compared to the coupe it is based upon, the Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder sports two special aerodynamic add-ons that should neutralize air turbulence when traveling with the roof folded back. Speaking of which: the roof can be retracted and extended automatically in just 17 seconds as long as the car doesn’t go faster than 50 km/h (31 mph).
The interior of the two-door vehicle uses a combination of fine leather and Alcantara. Separately available are a few styling packages and carbon trims (“Carbon Forged Composite” and “Carbon Skin”).
The Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder sources its power from a 5.2 V10 engine rated at 640 hp (477 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lbft) of torque. It bolts from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.1 seconds and maxes out at 325 km/h (202 mph).
In terms of equipment, the Italian roadster features a 7x DCT, AWD, rear wheel steering, and a Dynamics Control System that can adjust various parameters of the car to better match the driving style of its owner.
First Spyders will roll to their respective owners this spring priced at €202,400 and above.
