Missed more insane car tuning news? Here you go! This Lamborghini Huracan has been exhaustively tuned by AMS Performance and hits the tarmac with 1,800 horsepower (1,325 kW) using solely its rear wheel pair.
This is actually the same Lambo that starred in Hyperdrive, except it has been swapped to RWD and boosted to around 2.5 times the nominal power – which is no small feat, given that it was a supercar to begin with. To help it cope with its newfound power, special radial tires were installed.
Of course, no amount of costly rubber could save the hot Italian stallion from rearing up during an actual quarter-mile acceleration race. The video follows the car as it pops a wheelie and then proceeds to raise the front axle to about one meter high (3 ft.) in the air! What is especially impressive is how the driver persisted in flooring the gas pedal even after lifting off.
