Lamborghini unveiled the off-road-capable Huracan Sterrato Concept in the summer of 2019, and recent spy shots suggest it may be close to production.
The AWD prototype car was spotted running tests on a road covered with snow and ice. It had what definitely looked like a suspension lift, underbody protection, roof rails and a LED bar at the front end.
Notice also that the large air openings in the back look like they connect to functional intake ducts leading to the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated engine in the back. The color-mismatched brake calipers, however, can be safely disregarded: there is no doubt the production car will have the same finish applied to all calipers.
Tweaked automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are also high on our list of expectations, because the Sterrato Concept was positioned as a cross-country-capable supercar. Lamborghini has yet to announce a launch date.
Rumor has it the production run of the Sterrato will be strictly limited with prices expected to lie in the vicinity of €240,000.
