The Lamborghini Huracan crashed the supercar party in 2014 and has since become available in a number of V10-packing special editions. You might think that its V8 STO version would not be as loud or fast. You would be wrong.
Popular car reviewer Schmee150 had to learn the limitations of his shiny new Huracan STO the hard way as he hit the Nürburgring track past weekend. He was anxious to test the car and brought a respectable filming crew with him. However, after just one lap, he was pulled to the sideline and told that his vehicle – which was completely stock – violated the noise requirements.
Apparently, the limit is set at 130 decibels, but Schmee150’s Huracan hit the surroundings with as much as 134 dB. Despite the vlogger’s protests, he was banned from another lap and forced to leave the track.
The video still offers plenty of exciting footage, though, including accelerating to 250 km/h (155 mph) on a relatively straightforward stretch.
