Lamborghini has announced the Aventador successor in late March, but it is only now that the part-electric supercar showed up ‘live’ on the streets. The video is courtesy of Varryx (YouTube).
The neon-green plug-in hybrid is seen driven out of the gate silently, its 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 apparently not engaged. It was still making mandatory ‘EV sounds’, though.
For the most part, the Revuelto will rely on its V12 for propulsion, because its lithium-ion traction battery is only 3.8 kilowatt-hours large and enough for 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) of electric range. Furthermore, the Italian flagship is capped at a meager 180 PS (177 hp / 132 kW) in this mode.
In other news, Lamborghini plans to expand its model lineup with an all-new 2+2 GT model in 2028.
