Video: Lamborghini shoots a behind-the-scenes on the Revuelto production line

The Italian supercar maker wants us to have a look at the facilities where its new flagship car, the Revuelto, is being produced. The company had invested €150,000,000 into upgrading the factory for producing its most complex vehicle so far. The conveyor belts are already running, but the first actual deliveries will not take place until Q4 2023.

The video provides a good look at all the key stages of production – from carbon fiber processing for the body and the frame to the cutting of leather for the interior trim. The powertrain assembly is also shown in some detail, including the electric components.

The manufacturing approach the company implemented for the Revuelto specifically is all-new and called Manifattura Lamborghini Next Level. Per the video host, it employs a number of processes the company had never used before. For instance, some of the heavier parts are being carted around on purpose-made self-driving carts. This, and Lambo had to come to terms with the fact that modern supercar buyers expect never-before-seen customization options and deliver on that front, too.

The Italian automaker says that, although the whole process is highly streamlined and digitalized, the supercar will still retain its market positioning as a handmade vehicle. Manifattura Lamborghini Next Level prioritizes the values of flexibility and scalability, meaning the marque’s future cars will also benefit from it.
