Luxury carmaker Lamborghini has released a video featuring a new option package for its Urus SUV. Called the Off-Road Package, it comes with numerous improvements for the bulky crossover’s cross-country capabilities, as well as some useful extras.
The Lamborghini Urus Off-Road Package incorporates stainless-steel guard plates for the transmission and suspension, heavy-duty steel bumpers, redesigned end pipes, roof railings and a panoramic glass roof.
The SUV also gets a new air suspension design that enables it to ride 248 mm (9.7 inches) above ground, as well as two new drive modes: Dirt Road and Sand.
In its stock implementation, the Italian off-roader comes equipped with a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine rated at 650 hp (485 kW) and 850 Nm (627 pound-feet) of torque. It sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.6 seconds and may exceed 300 km/h (186 mph) when accelerating in a straight line.
