Video: Lamborghini’s first SUV drifting on sand

Italian luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini continues telling us about the advantages of its first crossover SUV, the Urus. The latest video introduces us to the drive mode selector and in particular the Sabbia mode, which is reportedly best for driving on sandy terrain.

The Urus you can see here comes equipped with Lamborghini’s Off-Road package that includes stainless-steel bumpers, skid plates, and two new drive modes: Sabbia (sand) and Terra (soil). Once installed, the package lifts the car to an impressive 250 mm (9.7”) of ground clearance.

The company plans to expand its SUV offer in the near future. One of the possible new models might be based on the famous Lamborghini LM002. TReportedly, the car will be fit for extreme off-road conditions and will match the Jeep Wrangler in terms of capabilities.
