The Italian automaker began road tests of its new crossover Urus. The car will be presented to the public at the beginning of winter. Autoexperts, after reviewing the only photo of the novelty, agreed that the first Lamborghini crossover, released in the series, will be very similar to the 2012 concept.
The five-door Urus body is distinguished by a domed silhouette and aggressive appearance. The basis for the novelty was the architecture of MLB, which built Audi Q7 a new generation and Bentley Bentayga. By the way, Urus will be the first production car of the company, which will receive a supercharged engine. This will be a 4.0-liter "eight", giving out up to 650 horsepower.
Representatives of the company said that the release of the new Urus is designed to stimulate sales and increase them, at least in two. If these plans are destined to come true, then Lamborghini will be able to begin the development and subsequent release of the new 4-door model.
