Race! South Africa has dropped out of sight for quite a while now: the guys used to surprise us with outstanding, large-scale tuning projects, but have lately switched to smaller-scale, more mundane customization. Still, as this Urus clearly demonstrates, their taste is still in the right place.
The 650HP (485kW) SUV with a €204,000+ price tag in Europe received an Akrapovic exhaust system and lowered suspension. However, it is the wheel set that makes our personal highlight here. The ultra-refined, ultra-expensive S17-01 rims by Vossen measure 23 inches across and come in a matte off-white finish that looks ideal against the blue body of the luxury SUV.
We actually saw the same rim model painted black on a black Urus a year ago. However, it failed to impress us quite as much, probably due to the lack of contrast and lowering. Alright, second time’s the charm!
