Lamborghini Urus gets a minor facelift and new version

One could argue that the Lambo Urus is too young for a major update: launched two years ago, it has sold around 8,300 units since, grossing over $1 billion. Despite this, the Italian automaker gave it a slight makeover heading into 2021.

The new Urus gets a redesigned key fob, a reworked parking assist that supports parallel and perpendicular parking modes, more colors to choose from, and the optional Sensonum audio set comprising 17 speakers rated at 730W total.

In addition to the above, the luxobarge gets a new special edition called Pearl Capsule, which gives it designer-made wheels and a two-tone paintjob. The primary color is always pearlescent and can be green (Mantis), orange (Borealis) or yellow (Inti). The complementary color is black, found on the roof, wheels, side sills and rear diffuser. The cabin trim consists of leather painted to match the primary body color and black Alcantara.

The Urus still comes powered by its usual V8 4.0 TT rated at 650 hp (485 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft). It needs only 3.6 seconds to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxes out at 305 km/h (189.5 mph). An eight-speed automatic transmission works in tandem with a limited-slip inter-axle Torsen differential.

The refreshed Lamborghini Urus is already available for pre-ordering in Europe, including the Pearl Capsule Edition. Prices start from €186,000 before all options.
