The much-anticipated premiere of Lamborghini Urus, company’s newest sporty SUV, is going to mark a milestone in the history of the renowned luxury car brand. As it draws near, Lamborghini decided to finally shed some light on the technical specifications of their creation.
Built on the MLB Evo platform, the Urus boasts a no-nonsense 4.0-liter V8 engine capable of 650 HP and 850 Nm torque, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The driver can choose between six driving modes dependent on road conditions and surface.
According to an official representative of the Italian brand, the Lamborghini Urus accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) in 3.7 seconds and goes above 300 km/h (186 mph). These are some pretty spectacular results for a car that weighs 2,154 kilograms (4,750 lbs).
The Basic Edition comes with 21-inch wheels, however, customers may choose to pay extra to get either the 22-inch or the 23-inch option.
