Hennessey Performance has announced the Lamborghini Urus HPE750, an upgrade kit meant to boost the Italian luxobarge to 750 mechanical horsepower (760 PS, or 560 kW). This represents a healthy increase from the stock 650 PS (485 kW).
The first video doesn’t just demonstrate the engine performance graphs before and after the tuning, but also shows off its impressive new soundtrack.
From the technical point of view, the Urus gets an ECU update, an air filter and low-drag catalytic converter, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. The company says it will continue working on the kit, but even now, the wheels are hit with 629 PS (464 kW) instead of the usual 554 PS (413 kW), while the effective torque amounts to 991 Nm (731 lb-ft).
The standard Urus needs 3.6 seconds to get from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxes out at 305 km/h (189.5 mph). It remains to be seen how these values change once the HPE750 is released.
On the outside, Hennessey badges are the only indication that the car has been modded. The kit comes with 12 months or 12,000 miles (19,312 km) of warranty coverage.
