Lamborghini Urus gets an update heading towards 2022

The latest spy shots seem to indicate that the Lambo Urus is getting ready for a facelift, its first one since the original debut in 2018.

The thick camo on the test car prevents us from discerning smaller details, but even so, changes can be made out in both bumpers, the front rim of the hood, and air intake areas.

The sides look less aggressive than they do on the current Urus, and it looks like the lower rear diffuser also gets reimagined along with the brake lights.

Engine-wise, a new plug-in hybrid powertrain is perhaps the single most anticipated bit of novelty. Odds are high that Lamborghini will borrow the setup that powers the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid, specifically a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor joining forces for 671 PS (662 hp / 493 kW) total.
