Mansory & MTM unveil a 1,001-PS Lamborghini Urus

Even stout opponents of SUVs will admit that the Lamborghini Urus is a modern, aggressive-looking and perfectly capable supercar, body style notwithstanding. Two tuner shops have recently united their efforts to highlight that ‘super’ aspect even further.

Mansory tackled the exterior, landing the luxobarge with a host of carbon fiber details, ginormous air intakes and a rear diffuser to match the rest. They also assembled the three trapezoid tailpipes in the middle of the back to resemble a trefoil.

In turn, MTM messed around with the engine bay contents. Enlarged turbos, a performance intake system, a custom air filter and a reinforced transmission enabled the Urus to pump out 1,001 metric horsepower (987 hp / 736 kW) to the wheels along with a mountain-moving 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft) of torque. Dynamic performance figures remained undisclosed, but the luxury crossover doesn’t need any modifications to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.6 seconds and ultimately hit 305 km/h (189.5 mph) in a straight line, so you can imagine how powerful this version should be.

Pricing and availability remain to be announced, too.
