Lamborghini has yet to even facelift its Urus SUV, but it is already looking farther into the future than that. According to CEO Stephan Winkelmann as quoted by Autocar, the next generation will run on pure electric power, no internal combustion involved.
The eco-friendly Urus is set to debut after the first Lamborghini EV penciled in for 2028. That car does not even exist on sketches right now, furthermore, the automaker hasn’t decided which body style to give it yet. All we know is that the company intends to lean on the experience of Volkswagen while designing its very first battery car.
As for the Urus, it should get its facelift later this year, and probably quite soon. The latest spy photos suggest that most of the changes will be concentrated on its front end: the radiator grille, air vents and hood intakes all seem to be new there.
