Tuner McChip-DKR has churned out its third upgrade for the gorgeous Lambo Urus, improving its acceleration and top speed even further. Understandably enough, the kit goes way beyond a simple ECU tune.
As a Stage 3 kit, it comes with aftermarket turbochargers, manifolds with 200-cell catalytic converters, and a thorough engine control unit remap. The whole puts additional 200 PS and 200 Nm of torque into the powertrain, culminating in 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW) and 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque.
The tuner didn’t bother with measuring sprint times or straight-line speed, but both should be considerably higher than stock. The manual states the Urus can sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.6 seconds, but we have seen videos of drivers nailing the launch and getting 3.1 seconds. The tuned SUV should be even faster than that. As for the top speed, a Urus with 850 PS under the hood was shown to be capable of 330 km/h (205 mph), an improvement over the standard 305 km/h (190 mph).
The kit will set you back €16,200 in Europe. Alternatively, you could add 100 horsepower (50 kilowatts) to the stock value with a €10,860 Stage 2 kit, or just go for an ECU tuning and get 50 hp (37 kW) for €2,500.
