The Italian supercar maker has published a sales report for the first quarter of 2022, reporting the best sales in its entire history so far.
According to the documents, the company shipped 2,539 cars worldwide in January–March, a 5% increase over the same period of 2021 and a 31% growth over 2020. The Lamborghini Urus accounted for nearly a half of the units sold, while the Aventador and the Huracan ranked second and third, respectively.
To put things into perspective, Lamborghini assembled around 2,000 units of its Countach classis in 1974–1990. It managed to move more cars in the second quarter of this year alone.
The Italian brand plans to make three new releases in the second half of 2022: two special editions of the Urus and one of Huracan. Last week, the company unveiled the Huracan Tecnica.
