Lamborghini confirmed a while ago that its Urus SUV would debut with a plug-in hybrid powertrain in 2024. Needless to say, it would have to withstand all manner of trials before production can begin. One of the early test vehicles has now been spotted on the streets with the interior in full sight.
Compared to the Urus S and Performance (see video), the PHEV version has a subtly retouched center console, redesigned air vents and different quick access buttons between the two displays. The driver’s screen has likely been modified as well to display the remaining charge and other hybrid-specific data. The dash panel and the door cards have been re-trimmed.
Outside, both the headlights and their graphics are new. The camouflage fails to conceal a revised front bumper, a new rear spoiler and what looks like updated taillights.
