Audi specialist ABT Sportsline has announced a series of 99 Lamborghini Urus “Scatenato”, which can be translated from Italian as “unchained” or “running wild”.
The company already has some experience in modding the Audi RS Q8, which is a technical twin of the Urus in many respects. In particular, both come powered by the same 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo block rated up to 666 PS (657 hp / 490 kW). In the Scatenato edition, the mill is set to receive a boost to 810 PS (800 hp / 596 kW) thanks to new turbos, cold air intake system and more.
New carbon-fiber trim will adorn the body of the muscular SUV: the aero kit will include a new hood cover, a front spoiler, side sill extensions, a rear wing and a host of smaller decorative trims. The interior has enough carbon décor going on as is, but ABT will be adding some more – for instance, on the gear selector and the rearview mirror bezel. Plaques saying “1 of 99” will not be missing, either.
Other than that, the luxury crossover will ride on 23-inch ABT IRL23 forged wheels and benefit from a sports-grade exhaust system culminating in a quartet of titanium exhaust tips.
