Lamborghini sells a record 10k+ cars in a year

Lamborghini has made itself a neat 60th anniversary present by selling more than 10,000 vehicles in 2023 for the first time on record.

More specifically, 10,112 Lambos found new owners last year, a 10% increase from 2022. A glance at the current trends lets us assume with some degree of confidence that 2024 will see this number grow further.

The demand ended up rather evenly spread across three major regions. The Italian company managed to sell 3,987 cars in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), surpassing the preceding year’s result by 14%. It also sold 3,465 examples in North America (+9%) and 2,660 in Asia and Pacific (+4%).

Considered on a per-country basis, the United States led the charts with 3,000 supercars sold. Ranking next are Germany (961), China, Hong Kong and Macau (845), the UK (801), and Japan (660). Only 409 units were sold on the marque’s domestic market – Italy, and India ranked last with 103 units sold.

In terms of models, the Urus SUV (see video) retained its leadership with 6,087 units sold. The Huracan found 3,962 owners and the discontinued Aventador found 12.
