Car manufacturer Lancia has unveiled a design study it calls ‘Pu+Ra HPE’ – a battery-electric coupe with retro design traits in a body previewing the evolution of the company’s vision.
Per Lancia, the name unfolds into ‘Pure+Radical’ and ‘High Performance Electric’. The front fascia boasts a light signature composed of three rays and a large splitter. The rear end wants us to remember the Stratos with its round taillamps, while the side view comes close to those of the Aurelia and Flaminia models.
Circles are a recurring theme throughout, with one visible on the roof and another one in the cabin. Per the manufacturer, the interior is supposed to remind us of an Italian hotel.
The technical aspect has not been discussed in detail, with Lancia simply pointing out that the EV has 700 km (435 miles) of range.
