Popular automotive news reporter and photographer Dino Dalle Carbonare has spotted this 1993 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II hatchback at the recently concluded Tokyo Auto Salon. The car sports a carbon body kit alongside a hardcore engine boost.
The stock 2.3-liter engine of the Integrale Evo II is capable of producing 215 hp (160 kW) at most – still not bad, considering that the car only weighs 1,300 kilograms (2,870 lb) or so. However, this particular copy has been tuned to produce north of 600 hp (450 kW)! The tuner had to add 0.3L of displacement room and upgrade countless drivetrain components in order to make it work.
As we mentioned above, the Italian vehicle got a carbon body kit made by Masashi Matsumoto. It includes a massive front spoiler with large air intakes, flaps and canards, wheel arch extenders, a swan-neck rear spoiler, and a large rear diffusor.
The interior of the Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II has been stripped of all unnecessary equipment and now features a roll cage, a sports steering wheel, Recaro bucket seats, and a custom dashboard overlaid with Alcantara.
We are quite impressed with this 25-year-old rally car. Are you?
