Italy to resurrect the legendary Lancia Delta Integrale race car

Eugenio Amos, a famous Italian racer and the founder/owner of Automobili Amos, has said he wanted to resurrect the legendary Lancia Delta Integrale race car. The reincarnated vehicle will be built on a heavily modified Delta Integrale 16V platform and will look and feel quite a bit different from its spiritual ancestor.

For instance, the company plans to give it a hand-crafted aluminum body with carbon front part. It’s also going to get a different suspension. Last but not least, the interior of the famous race car is going to be overhauled as well.

The “resurrection” will take place at the Automobili Amos factory in Piedmont, Italy, where most of the relevant car part manufacturers can be found. Carbon and body kit parts will be ordered with some of the best Italian automakers.

The company wants to produce a total of 15 copies of its revived Lancia Delta Integrale. Prices remain undisclosed so far.
