Lancia is currently at the top of the list of Stellantis’ most problematic car marques, and it will need to act soon if it wishes to stay in business at all. According to a development strategy the company has just revealed, the main bet is on a next-gen Ypsilon hatchback.
The fourth generation of the supermini is expected to be around four meters (13.1 feet) long and run on a part-electric powertrain. Around two years after the launch, the company hopes to introduce Aurelia EV, an all-electric flagship 4.6 meters (15.1 feet) long. Two years later, it intends to usher in Delta EV, which would slot in below the Aurelia in terms of power.
