Jaguar Land Rover signed a long-term cooperation agreement with NVIDIA according to which the tech company pledges to develop AI solutions for future JLR cars.
By 2025, new cars released by both brands will ship with a tech platform called NVIDIA Drive on board, which will manage their active safety features and driving aids, as well as handle semi-autonomous driving and automated parking. It will also provide an AI assistant capable of holding a conversation with a human.
In addition to this, JLR gets the permission to use NVIDIA equipment and software in its new developments. The corporation hopes that teaming up with one of the world’s leading IT giants will elevate its cars to a next level and set new standards in the premium segment of the market.
