Jaguar Land Rover company started large-scale reconstruction of the engineering center in Geydon, English city. The platform isn't engaged in direct assembly of cars. It is noted that after the finishing of the work, it will be one of the most advanced engineering and design production centers. The budget of 200 million pounds sterling was allocated for it. Over the last 10 years it is the company's largest investment project in a similar object.
Bennetts Associates architectural bureau and Laing O'Rourke firm are involved in works on the platform in Geydona. Specialists will create a completely new engineering campus with modern offices and Jaguar and Land Rover design centers.
Jaguar Land Rover also aims considerable funds at the development of its English plants (including motor plant in Wolverhampton). The new conveyor was started together with it in Brazil and one more is being prepared for start in Slovakia. The British firm has several plants in India and China. Let's note that over the last 5 years the staff of Jaguar Land Rover was expanded on 20 thousand people and at the moment it has 40 thousand employees.
