E.C.D. unveils another custom Land Rover Defender

It has only been a couple weeks since Car atelier E.C.D. Automotive Design has introduced a hardcore modification of the Land Rover Defender, aptly named “Savage”. Now it came out with another take on the same vehicle model.

The car got a vivid blue paintjob with white roof and wheels. The unusual color scheme is actually reminiscent of what Land Rover used to bring out back in the 1990s.

An enormous 6.2-liter Chevrolet LS3 V8 engine with 430 hp (321 kW) at its disposal powers the car. The Savage came equipped with the same engine model boosted to 600 hp (447 kW).

Among other things, the new Land Rover Defender Project HARD DRIVE features a restyled front bumper, a winch, a bull bar, some additional lighting and a spacious roof rack with an access ladder.

The interior has also been thoroughly reworked. The team draped the entire dashboard, the armrest and the seats with leather, installed a wooden steering wheel and replaced the stock infotainment system with one made by Alpine, featuring Wi-Fi and Apple CarPlay support.
