If you haven’t heard from East Coast Defender lately, that’s because the tuner went through a rebranding and is now called E.C.D. Automotive Design. Today, it has shown us its latest release, called “Project Evolution”.
The team used an old Land Rover Defender D110 as a starting point. The car gained an Afzal Kahn widebody kit and a set of 20-inch wheels wrapped in off-road tires. Its entire body has been painted black, including the former highlights and aero parts.
The interior is also predominantly dark, but there is light-brown leather trimming on the seats with diamond-pattern stitching. The same kind of leather adorns the dashboard and the armrest.
To spruce up the old car, it has received plenty of modern options, including an infotainment system, a JL Audio system, and a wireless charger.
