Land Rover Defender D90 goes convertible

ECD Automotive Design has lately released several upgrades for the full-size Land Rover Defender D110. Today, the team came out with a modification of its junior sibling, the D90. The car received the name “Project Malibu” and essentially turned into a convertible with a removable hard top.

The team has painted it mate black and equipped it with a potent 5.3-liter Chevrolet LC9 V8 engine. No performance figures are quoted, but it is certain that we deal with much more than 300 hp (225 kW) here.

The D90 Project Malibu will be exhibited at the Open Doors Days held by ECD Automotive Design in Malibu, California on November 8 through 10.
