The year 2018 is coming to an end, and the time seems right for making conclusions, counting profits and so on. Even so, USA-based tuner E.C.D. Automotive Design doesn’t feel like calling it a year just yet. The guys just released a new Defender D90 build armed called “Project AJ”.
The car received a new LC9 5.3L V8 engine, a six-speed automatic transmission and a whole lot of options. The latter included a front bumper with integrated DRLs and rubber end caps, the trademark Heritage Edition Anniversary grille, LED lighting and 16-inch, matte-black Defend 1948 alloy wheels clad in BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
The modded Defender also sports an external roll cage, a revised rear bumper and a backdoor-mounted spare wheel.
The cabin features high-quality leather upholstery with white diamond stitching, a Momo Prototipo sports steering wheel, a multi-channel JL Audio system, and more.
Just like many similar projects released before, this Defender D90 is a one-off job carried out against an anonymous client’s order. As such, E.C.D. Automotive Design didn’t reveal any of the costs involved in its implementation.
