While Jaguar Land Rover is busy working on the next-generation Defender SUV, numerous tuners all around the world attempt to squeeze the most out of the current generation. Meet the Spectre, a 525-HP version of the Defender 110 by Himalaya.
More specifically, the team based their work on a Land Rover Defender 110 Crew Cab. They began by replacing the stock V4 engine with a huge 6.3-liter V8 LS3 of the Chevrolet Corvette series. They linked it to a six-speed automatic suspension and AWD for 525 hp (391 kW) and 671 Nm (495 lbft) of torque.
The car then received a set of 18-inch Sawtooth Alloy wheels painted black, clad in 37-inch Toyo Open Country tires. It also gained 100 mm (4 in.) of extra ground clearance thanks to Fox Performance Shocks and the Extreme Currie Hi-Flex suspension kit.
The interior of the SUV is mostly draped in fine leather and features Recaro seats alongside an all-new dashboard and infotainment system.
