U.S. car tuner Chelsea Truck Company continues to push out one custom Land Rover Defender after another. This time around, however, it decided to try something new for a change and built this retro-inspired Defender Homage II Edition.
The front of the car looks clearly inspired by the Series 2 version. Immediate highlights include headlights mounted on the radiator grille, 200 mm (8 inches) of extra wheelbase and an external roll cage painted black. The tuned car also sports the traditional Chelsea Truck body kit.
Interior novelty is by no means less pronounced, either. There is fine leather upholstery covering the seats, the new center console, the dashboard, the doors, the sun visors and even the ceiling.
Chelsea Truck Company never mentioned any performance upgrades for its Land Rover Defender Homage II Edition. This leads us to assume the SUV still comes with the stock 2.2-liter diesel mill churning out 122 hp (91 kW).
