Defender Project Ghost is a brutal SUV in a stainless-steel kit

E.C.D. Automotive Design keeps churning out one custom Defender after another. This D110-based Project Ghost is their latest work.

The car wears a China Grey livery once again sourced from Aston Martin shelf. Aside from the paint, it boasts a massive stainless-steel front bumper with a winch and inbuilt LED DRLs, running boards and a roll bar made out of the same metal, a powerful light bar up top, and 20-inch Mondial Retro wheels.

The cabin sports a neutral grey leather trim livened up by green stitching. The front seats are Puma Classic, the rear ones are 60/40-split, and there is a sitting area for four more passengers in the back.

Powering the SUV is a 6.2l Chevrolet LS3 V8 rated at 430 hp (321 kW), which is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine swap is hardly a surprise, since E.C.D. Automotive Design has been known for putting this mill into most vehicles it restored.
