Kahn Design released its most extreme pickup truck ever – the Land Rover Defender Flying Huntsman 6х6 – two years ago. Today, the three-axle vehicle with barely 160 kilometers (100 miles) under its belt goes up on sale.
Powering the one-off concept off-roader is a 6.2-liter Chevy Corvette V8 rated at 360 hp (268 kW), which sends the power to all six wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
At £240,000 asking price, the car is actually relatively affordable as 6x6 vehicles go. The new Hennessey Goliath, which is based on the Chevrolet Silverado platform, comes priced close to U.S. $375,000, while the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 is almost 2.5 times as expensive as the latter. Furthermore, the Kahn Design Defender 6x6 exists in a single copy worldwide, while there are 24 Goliaths and ~100 G63 AMG 6x6 trucks around.
